i prefer to do newborn sessions between 5-7 days after the baby is born, but can go as late as 2 weeks after the birth.
my newborn photography style is more “natural”. i don’t use backdrops or a lot of props. i like to get the newborns in natural positions, with natural surroundings. and i don’t generally do completely nude pictures. mainly because i don’t dig getting pooed or peed on by my own kids, let alone someone else’s. i prefer plain onesies, a diaper, or wrapped in a blanket.
sessions are 1 1/2 to 2 hours planning on time for feedings, holding, getting to sleep, pooping, etc.
sessions can be in your home (so you don’t have to actually get ready and haul a new baby somewhere) or at my in-home studio in lehi.

session fee up to 3 kids. each additional child is $25.
session focus is on individual shots of child or children. 1 to 1 1/2 hours depending on location, moods, and time of day. group shots of kids can be added for $25.
these are some of my favorite sessions. my goal is to make it fun and painless. let the kids be kids. i’ll chase them and you can enjoy watching. running, jumping, laughing are encouraged. i want the kids to feel free to be themselves. no “princess hands” around here.

session fee includes a family of up to 6 people. each additional person add $10. i don’t do extended family portraits (unless you want to pay me a boat-load of cash).
session focus is on whole family shots and different groupings (just kids, just parents, mom with kids, dad with kids, etc.). a few individual shots of each kid is also included. 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
my intent is not to get one perfectly posed photo. instead i aim for a collection of candid and photojournalistic photos that help tell the “story” of your family and your relationships. no “look here and say cheese” kinda photos. i want family pictures to be fun instead of a complete pain in the….

unlimited clothing changes within the 1 to 1 1/2 hours time frame.

$225 session fee includes time, post-processing, on-line gallery of images, and 25 high-res images on a disc with print release.
unlimited clothing and prop changes within 30 min. time frame.
in studio. i can bring funbooth to your home for a $50 fee.
good for kids or the whole family.
just like a photobooth, only without the walls. these sessions are fun, crazy, different. great solution for kids who may otherwise not do well with pictures. props are encouraged.
